Panini-Style Muffaletta
This sandwich is my funky twist on a muffaletta . It's one of those recipes that I made up on-the-fly while doing the, "What in the world am I gonna make for dinner?" mental gymnastics on my way home from work last night. I wanted something quick and easy, yet new and interesting. As I was parking at the store I remembered this great sandwich recipe from chef Anne Burrell. I didn't remember the entire recipe, but I did recall enough to be inspired by it. This happens to me alot.

Pizza Steak Sandwiches
I was Mr. Mom the other night. When that happens I let the girlies pick what's for dinner. On this particular occasion they chose pizza steak sandwiches. Normally this would just mean a Philly with pizza sauce, but then you still need a side vegetable. But wait... What if you put the side veggie on the sandwich? Why, then you simply have a meal on a roll. And, with that, let's roll!

Pork Tortas
Well, my Cinco de Mayo recipe is better late than never, right? Things have been crazy busy of late, so I apologize for the delay. If you've never had a pork torta, I have two pieces of advice for you. One, remedy that situation ASAP. Two, try this recipe as said remedy. Torta is simply Spanish for "sandwich". As with most recipes, there are many different traditional versions. My version starts with a split bolillo roll .
